The Grand Mercure Puka Park Resort is situated 11 miles (17 kilometers) from the main part of Hot Water Beach. Or, alternatively, the Sovereign Pier on the Waterways is located 8 miles (12 kilometers) away. The Admiralty Lodge Motel and also the At Parkland Place are some alternative hotel options around Hot Water Beach.
Once you have spent time in Hot Water Beach, why don't you tour a little further afield? The North Island area is home to plenty of things to see. North Island is marked by beaches and coastal plains, and other interesting visitor sites are art museums, nature museums and history museums. Popular pastimes in this corner of New Zealand include snowboarding, skiing and tobogganing.
Coromandel is 20 miles (34 kilometers) northwest of Hot Water Beach and boasts Coromandel Historical Museum and Coromandel Goldfields Centre & Stamper Battery.
